Body weight. A controversial topic in any class.

With significant changes to mast sections, sail cuts and sailing styles since the Laser became an Olympic class, the ideal weight for each rig has shifted significantly from what the standard suggestions are.

Here’s my take on the current optimal weight for each rig.
